Hosting

Public URLs, production BYOK, and self-host overview.

Learn where hosted Eco runs and how to check the public API.

Public URLs#

ServiceURL
Websiteorbioeco.sh
Playgroundorbioeco.sh/app
Documentationorbioeco.sh/docs
API originhttps://api.orbioeco.sh
SDK base URLhttps://api.orbioeco.sh/v1

https://www.orbioeco.sh redirects to the main website. The website and API use HTTPS.

Use hosted Eco#

Bring your own Orbio key to the playground, or connect an OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions client. Eco does not issue keys or ask you to configure its server.

Your playground key is saved in your browser and sent to Eco and Orbio when needed. See Privacy & keys and Installation & usage.

Public health check#

This check needs no key and does not spend Orbio credits:

eco@docs bash
curl --fail --silent --show-error https://api.orbioeco.sh/v1/eco/health

Expected response:

eco@docs json
{ "ok": true, "service": "eco-api", "version": "0.1.0" }

Run your own instance#

Builders can run the web and API in their own environment. Start with the optional Developers and self-hosting track. Use HTTPS, configure the public API origin, and allow your web origin in CORS. Users still bring their own keys.
